Pheasant and Partridge Shooting in Northumberland
Partridge and Pheasant shooting in Northumberland - The Hawick and Blackhalls Shoot forms part of Lord Devonport’s Ray Estate in Mid Northumberland. Hansom Sporting is primarily made up of two syndicates run by Russell and Terry. Most of the members have been shooting together for over fifteen years, leaving our previous shoot in 2000 we are now well established on the Ray Estate. Due to the size and layout of the estate we are also in a position to offer a variety of days to let.
The shoot provides driven pheasant, partridge and duck on 3,400 acres of beautiful Northumberland countryside.
We are situated off the A696 at Knowesgate, North of Kirkwhelpington and within 35 minutes of Newcastle upon Tyne.
The Knowesgate Motel is within 5 minutes of the shoot offering bed and breakfast plus an a la carte menu. For non residents it offers a full English breakfast and is popular with sportsmen in the area.
There are also a number of other luxury country house hotels in the nearby village of Otterburn.
