From Newcastle - (approx 24 miles)
On the A1 heading North, take A696 to Ponteland, continue on the A696 until you reach Knowesgate.
At the Knowesgate Motel turn left towards Sweethope Loughs.
Turn right at next junction into the Estate, you will pass a cottage on the junction.
Continue down this road, past Blackhall Farm, turning a sharp right at the Ray Demense. Park on your left before the sawmill.
From Hexham - (approx 22 miles)
From the A69, take the A6079 to A68, crossing the A68 onto the B6342 to Kirkharle. Turn left onto the A696.
At the Knowesgate Motel turn left towards Sweethope Loughs.
Turn right at next junction into the Estate, you will pass a cottage on the junction.
Continue down this road, past Blackhall Farm, turning a sharp right at the Ray Demense. Park on your left before the sawmill.
From Otterburn - (approx 10 miles)
Continue heading South on the A696 until you reach Knowesgate.
At the Knowesgate Motel turn right towards Sweethope Loughs.
Turn right at next junction into the Estate, you will pass a cottage on the junction.
Continue down this road, past Blackhall Farm, turning a sharp right at the Ray Demense. Park on your left before the sawmill.
